Elizabeth Shea Joins Porzio Governmental Affairs, LLC

Elizabeth Shea, former Assistant Commissioner of the New Jersey Department of Human Services, is joining the lobbying team of Porzio Governmental Affairs, LLC (PGA) as Vice President.  She will focus on health care and human services management, strategic planning, and public policy; particularly in the area of developmental disabilities.

Ms. Shea has experience in the areas of federal and state Medicaid, including 1915(c) and 1115(i) Medicaid waiver programs; affordable housing policies and programs; rate setting  for state-funded programs; care management for unique populations; and managing the safe transition of individuals with complex needs from institutional settings to home and community-based settings.  Her work has included research and analysis of policy issues, bill-tracking and bill drafting, coalition-building, grant writing, and grant management.

Ms. Shea received her undergraduate degree at Douglass College of Rutgers University, her law degree from Seton Hall University School of Law, and her Masters of Public Policy from the Edward J. Bloustein School of Planning & Public Policy. She is admitted to practice law in the State of New Jersey and the Federal District Court of New Jersey.
