Pork Council Donates to South Jersey FoodBank

The National Pork Producers Council generously donated 400 hams to the Community Food Bank of New Jersey's southern branch. In light of the continued rising prices of meat in general, pork is in high demand at the Community Food Bank of New Jersey’s Southern Branch.

Barbara DeMarco, vice president of Porzio Governmental Affairs, was joined for the donation by Jeremy Davis, director of grassroots with the Pork Council, Ed Wengryn, research assistant at New Jersey Farm Bureau, and Evelyn Benton, executive director of the local FoodBank.
