Today Governor Murphy signed into law legislation creating an online voter registration platform for New Jersey. Senate Bill 589 requires the development and implementation of an online platform for eligible New Jersey residents to submit voter registration applications online. New Jersey joins 40 other states providing this type of access for individuals seeking to register to vote. PGA clients @vote.org and the Center for Secure and Modern Elections (CSME) are non-partisan national leaders in increasing information about and access to the democratic process. With the help of PGA’s Sal Anderton, Vote.org and CSME were thrilled to be a part of the effort to advance this bill into law.  This legislation was sponsored by Senator Loretta Weinberg and Assemblypersons Gabriela Mosquera, Patricia Egan Jones, and Paul Moriarty.
