Ann Barzda is Manager of Administration at Porzio Governmental Affairs. Ms. Barzda assists clients by working with the firm's lobbyists to research, identify and monitor relevant legislation. She creates reports detailing bill information to keep clients apprised of legislative changes. Among her duties are all administrative functions required by an association political action committee. Ms. Barzda is also responsible for drafting daily news summaries for our clients to keep our agents and clients fully informed about any issues that may impact their interests. Ms. Barzda is also responsible for ELEC compliance and can advise clients regarding New Jersey election law requirements. She provides administrative support, including legislative and regulatory monitoring and reporting.
Ms. Barzda has many years of experience providing administrative support to executives in both the private and public sectors, including Assemblyman Herb Conaway, MD, and Assemblyman Jack Conners. She had primary responsibility for coordinating schedules, working with constituents, and performing other day-to-day legislative duties as needed.
Ms. Barzda has participated in a variety of campaigns, local and national, in support of Democratic candidates. She was also a Committeewoman in her hometown and continues to participate in local activities. She is a graduate of Rutgers University-Douglass College, with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Theater Arts.
