Beau W. Huch is a Director for Porzio Governmental Affairs, LLC. He served as a Legislative Aide to New Jersey's 10th Legislative District Office and most recently as Legislative Director to New Jersey's 13th Legislative District State Senator, Declan O'Scanlon.
Beau collaborated with governmental agencies at the state, county, and municipal levels on critical matters of both public and private enterprise concern. He prides himself on being able to work across the aisle to identify and achieve resolutions to common objectives. He has experience implementing policies relating to a wide array of industries during his time in public service. Beau has been successful with helping stakeholders navigate complex issues such as energy and utility infrastructure development, public health and healthcare advocacy, land use/zoning, civil rights, cannabis, environmental protection, EMS and law enforcement initiatives.
Additionally, Beau has dealt with highly polarizing and sensitive topics such as vaccines, social justice, and a plethora issues that impact the State budget. He was instrumental in expanding the NJ medical marijuana program and creating a pilot program to research the cultivation of industrial hemp.
Beau is also of Counsel at Porzio Bromberg and Newman, focusing on cannabis law. He received his Bachelor of Arts in History from Montclair State University and his Juris Doctor from Widener University School of Law.
