Porzio Governmental Affairs is proud to announce that Beau W. Huch has been recognized as one of the Greater Atlantic City Chamber’s 2024 Business Excellence Award recipients. Huch was recognized as one of the Chamber’s 20 Under 40, a new award category that shines a spotlight on 20 community leaders shaping the future of the region.

The Greater AC Chamber carefully selected award recipients through a detailed process led by a committee of past awardees and executive committee members. The committee thoroughly reviewed nominations, assessing honorees based on specific criteria tailored to each award and category.

In his capacity as Director for PGA, Huch provides invaluable guidance on navigating the legislative landscape, particularly in the realms of healthcare, environmental issues, cannabis, and law enforcement. Most recently, Huch was instrumental in guiding the Chamber through the implications of Governor Murphy’s proposed alcoholic beverage reform on Atlantic City businesses with liquor licenses. His collaborative approach extends to working with governmental agencies at the state, county, and municipal levels, addressing critical matters of both public and private enterprise concern. Huch’s commitment to bipartisanship is evident in his ability to collaborate across the aisle, fostering resolutions to shared objectives.

Boasting extensive experience in public service, Huch has successfully implemented policies spanning a wide array of industries. His track record includes adeptly addressing complex issues such as energy and utility infrastructure development, public health and healthcare advocacy, land use/zoning, civil rights, cannabis, environmental protection, EMS, and law enforcement initiatives.

Beyond his role at Porzio Governmental Affairs, Huch serves as Of Counsel at Porzio, Bromberg & Newman. In this capacity, he is a member of the Litigation group, where he advises clients on compliance and regulatory matters related to the burgeoning cannabis market.

Huch also volunteers his time as vice-chair on the board of the Visiting Nurses Association Community Health Center, a Federally Qualified Health Center based in Monmouth County.

Greater Atlantic City Chamber will recognize the 2024 honorees at an awards ceremony on March 28, hosted at The Carriage House.
