We have credibility with New Jersey’s decision makers — a valued currency in Trenton and throughout the state – which has been earned through years of relationship building and honest negotiating.

E Educating Policymakers We work with state and local government officials to ensure that policymakers have the resources they need to make wise and informed decisions. A key aspect of this work is educating policymakers about the legislative and regulatory issues our clients face.

U Getting our Clients Understood We help policymakers to understand our clients. More than simply presenting a client's legislative agenda, we “put a face" on the client so that policymakers have a detailed understanding of the client's business.

L Legislative Lobbying We develop legislative strategy, draft legislation and build legislative support for its passage. We prepare testimony and testify before legislative committees and prepare our clients to do so. Finally, we carefully monitor legislative activity to identify strategic opportunities and stay ahead of events.

E Executive Agency Lobbying We work to foster open and productive relationships between our clients and the agencies with which they interact. We analyze regulations – as well as permitting and licensing requirements – and, when necessary, develop legal and business arguments to support changing them. We represent clients in public and administrative hearings and, when legislative change is the best remedy for regulatory hurdles, we develop legislation and work to build support for its passage.
