The New Jersey Legislature and Governor Murphy enacted a series of new laws authorizing various economic relief programs for New Jersey businesses to be administered out of the New Jersey Economic Development Authority. The package of initiatives includes a grant program for small businesses, a zero-interest loan program for mid-size companies, support for private-sector lenders and Community Development Financial Institutions (CDFIs), funding for entrepreneurs, and a variety of resources providing technical support and marketplace information. Governor Murphy announced that the launch date for the program and the opening for applications to be available will be Friday, April 3 at 9 am. At that time, the applications can be accessed at the NJ COVID 19 portal: https://covid19.nj.gov/
