Patricia Morgan is a Director for Porzio Governmental Affairs. With more than a decade of education policy expertise, both inside and outside of government, Patricia is uniquely suited to guide clients through the passage of legislation, regulatory packages, and the state budget processes. She is solutions-oriented, leveraging her deep policy knowledge, varied advocacy experiences, and strong relationships to achieve favorable outcomes for her clients.
Previously, Patricia served as the Chief Legal & External Affairs Officer and Assistant Commissioner at the New Jersey Department of Education. She also held a key role as an Assistant Counsel in the Governor's Office, focusing on K-12 education, higher education, and children and families. Most recently, she led a prominent education policy and advocacy organization in New Jersey, dedicated to expanding educational opportunities for students.
Patricia also serves as Of Counsel at Porzio, Bromberg & Newman where she is a member of the Education team. She received her Juris Doctorate, Summa Cum Laude, from Seton Hall School of Law, and her Bachelor of Liberal Arts from Drew University. She also clerked for the Honorable Stuart J. Rabner, Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of New Jersey, and the Honorable Peter G. Sheridan, United States District Court of New Jersey.
