Today PGA client, Girls Who Code, together with the Newark Board of Education and NJIT, held their first showcase of coding-based projects developed by female middle school and elementary school students from Newark. Over 300 girls from 25 Newark-based schools participated. Assemblywomen Sumter and Timberlake addressed the girls with words of encouragement. In addition, First Lady Tammy Murphy spoke to the girls via video congratulating the girls on their work and urging them to be bold and fearless in their pursuits. PGA Vice President, Barbara DeMarco was on hand to lend support and offer encouragement. To read more about the event, please click here.
